I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Harrison Tsimouris. The Bloomington Edge is a professional indoor football team in Bloomington, Illinois. Harrison was an intern for us in the summer semester of 2018. I was his direct supervisor. His responsibilities were very wide ranging and included personnel, football operations, marketing, sales, and game day operations. Harrison also assisted our coaching staff with practice organization.
Our team went undefeated in our 2018 summer season and Harrison had a lot to do with that. From our first tryout to our last regular season game, Harrison did more than just participate. He actively looked for ways to help our organization. I appreciated his “no job is too small” attitude. He never missed a shift and regularly volunteered for extra duties. As a small market minor league team, we count our interns to do more than make copies and get coffee. Our staff gets their hands dirty from day one, and we would not have had the success we had without Harrison’s contributions.
Another attribute I really liked about Harrison is that he never complained. This job has sporadic and sometimes very long hours which many interns struggle with. Harrison welcomed the challenges our organization faced. I would consider him a self starter who is not afraid to speak up and offer well thought out suggestions.
Harrison will be an excellent addition to a team’s front office if he continues the current upward trend he is on. He has the right mindset and work ethic to succeed in this business which is not for everyone. Should a position open on our staff he will be my first phone call.
